Carolina Girl's Lacrosse Camps

Official Site of the University of North Carolina Girl's Lacrosse Camps

The difference between Overnight Camper and Commuter Camper:

All campers receive a free Carolina Lacrosse Camp reversible to be worn to each session!

Overnight camper registration - Campers stay in the dorm and all meals are provided (breakfast, lunch and dinner).

Commuter camper registration - Camper makes her own transportation arrangements to and from dorm each morning. Camper checks in and check out each day. Camper makes her own hotel/sleeping arrangements. Breakfast is NOT provided, however, lunch and dinner are included in tuition and provided on campus with all campers.

Facilities we will be using include both astroturf, field turf and grass fields directly on campus and within walking distance of the dorm and dining halls. Due to construction on campus this summer, exact fields will be announced at a later date.

Overnight campers stay in our beautiful air conditioned dorms on the University of North Carolina campus. Dorms are within walking distance of our playing fields. The rooms are 2 campers to a room and 4 rooms (8 campers) in a quad style, sharing a common bath area

Roommates will be assigned based on roommate requests on the registration form or randomly if not specified. All roommate/suite requests must be submitted TWO WEEKS PRIOR to the camp start date. We cannot accommodate late requests. If you have a specific suite accommodation request, you need to email us - do not try to type out multiple names in the roommate request box or in other areas of the registration form.

Camp staff will provide 24 hour supervision in the dorms and counselors will have their rooms clearly marked on each floor. See FAQ Page for check in details.

We have athletic trainers on staff that are available 24 hours to administer to any illness, and/or minor injuries and stay in the dorm. If necessary, see trainer at check in to let them know of medical issues that you outlined on your registration/medical information.

A trainer will stay in the dorms with campers and the camp emergency cell phone will be available 24/7 to assist with any issues.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served to all overnight campers each day at the Rams Dining Facility on campus within walking distance of the dorm.

Lunch is not served on the first day of camp.

  • Campers can eat, pack or bring money to buy lunch prior to the first session of camp
    • Elite Camp - First meal to be served at camp is dinner
    • Rising Stars & Super Stars Camp - First meal to be served at camp is dinner

Email with any dietary concerns. Vegetarian meals are available.

Our camp store will be set up in the campers' dorm. The camp store sells Carolina lacrosse clothing and accessories. The store will also offer snacks, water and sports drinks for sale. Pizza can be pre-ordered from the store at breaks and will be delivered each night after the last session.

All campers are expected to show utmost respect for staff, other campers and facilities. Campers are NOT allowed to leave the dorm area or any field area at ANY time without permission.

All overnight campers are NOT ALLOWED to leave their room/quad after bed check at night. Any camper found in violation of these rules will be immediately dismissed from camp without refund of fees paid.

All commuter campers are NOT ALLOWED to leave with parents during the day's session. We are responsible for your child's safety and security while they are with us on campus. We ask that you drop them off at the beginning of the day and pick them up at the end of the day.
